Building communities of commons in Sarantaporo (Greece)

The intuition of a group of citizens, living in the greek village of Sarantaporo, to create a website to promote their city dates back to 2010. The only difficulty, the lack of Internet, caused by the lowly interest of the suppliers of the service to invest in a remote area. The solution? The installation of a mesh network, done by the community itself. Ilias Marmaras, greek director, decided to give voice to this history through a documentary. We’ve interviewed him to learn more about.  Go to the article.
