Nos aventuramos a los alrededores de Bangalore en busca de BAMBOO!

GRACIAS a todos los nuevos y nuevas que habeis aportado vuestra gotita! Seguimos “on the wave” y os pedimos difusión y fuerza para esta última semana de campaña!

Teníamos que tener la experiencia, para saber que el BAMBOO no es nuestra CAÑA COMÚN!
Pero que paseo más majo y que bien empezar con la recolección de materiales!

Esta mañana nos hemos levantado sin luz, sin internet y sin agua, y nos ha venido genial para tener una fructífera charla organizativa (no hay mal …).
En este proyecto tenemos muy presentes las 4R en arquitectura (reducir, reutilizar, rehabilitar, reciclar), por ello jueves pasado fuimos a visitar los diversos centros de separación y acopio de GRACE, en busca de materiales óptimos para la construcción, y aunque parezca todo basura para nosotros no lo és! encontramos ladrillos, cartón, plásticos, barras de aluminio, tablones de madera, y azulejos rotos. Yeahh!! GRACE pone el transporte y alguna mano más que sumada a las nuestras es suficente para llevárnoslo a Thanisandra!

Y hablando en esa renuión … NECESITAMOS BAMBOO!!!!!! lo compramos? ¡pero si por los alrrededores hay un montón! Bharati nos dice que su hermano tiene un terreno cerca con bambú y que si vamos con herramientas nos podemos llevar todo lo que queramos … pues ea! a por ello! Hemos comprado las primeras herramientas en los bazares cercanos y nos hemos lanzado a la aventura … cortarlo con machete tiene lo suyo, y después limpiar las hojas y transportarlo también.
De momento ya hemos vivido la experiencia, e iremos a recoger los troncos cortados con el transporte de GRACE. Nos ha sorprendido que no era tan recto como nos lo esperábamos (toing!) y al estar verde se curvaba con facilidad ah! y pincha un poco! sin embargo ya empezamos a ver sus múltiples posibilidades!
