Las colectas locales

Una idea que tuvimos para ampliar el alcance de nuestra campaña fue organizar colectas locales.

Esto tiene dos propósitos:

1)Muchos de nuestr@s visitantes querrían tal vez ayudarnos, pero se verían impedidos por el procedimiento de donación, que implica saber usar la red (cosa que para algunas personas no es accesible); y

2) Muchos de ell@s sólo podrían donar cantidades muy pequeñas.

Una colecta local, en la que un@ de nuestr@s colaboradores in situ recogiera muchos pequeños aportes de mano en mano, que al final de la campaña nos enviaría, fue una de las ideas surgidas en el proceso de preparación del trabajo. Así se pusieron a las órdenes de la campaña amig@s en Canadá, Estados Unidos, México, Costa Rica, Colombia, Perú, Ecuador, Argentina, Uruguay y España. Hace pocos días también se sumó una amiga en la India.

El modelo está resultando exitoso en algunos lugares, como México y Uruguay. En otros, como Estados Unidos, y Canadá, no ha tenido suerte y hemos debido cancelarlo (en estos casos, la razón fue que el sitio está mayormente en castellano). Estamos en espera de noticias de otros países.
